Once your audio and artwork files are uploaded to the FTP and your metadata sheet is prepared, initiate the ingestion process by selecting the "+ Start New Ingestion" button in the Metadata Ingestion tool.
Provide a name for your project, upload the metadata CSV file, and click "Start Validating" to begin the initial validation process.
The first part of the ingestion process will now begin, which checks for metadata accuracy, as well as checking the files on the FTP against your original file names to verify that they are all present.
Upon completion, an alert box displays the total errors or warnings detected. Click "View Errors/Warnings" for detailed instructions. Errors must be corrected for progression, while warnings are optional. The errors list can also be downloaded via the pop-up window by clicking on “Export Summary”.
If any errors are flagged, it is possible to re-start the validation of the document once any necessary corrections are made, by clicking on the green button “Upload CSV”.
You will only be able to click on the “Next Step” button to proceed to the second phase of the ingestion workflow once you have achieved 0 errors (you can still proceed even if you have warnings). This will start the final ingestion process.
Successful Ingestion: A green box confirms the number of products and assets ingested correctly. Check the "Products Catalog" page for details.
Other potential messages:
Failed Ingestion: If issues arise, a red alert box notifies errors. Further action is required. You may need to contact your Integrations Manager or the FUGA Support Team via support@fuga.com for assistance.
Partially Successful Ingestion: Some products may not ingest fully due to technical reasons. Further action may be required.
All successfully ingested products will immediately be accessible within Next for editing, approval, and delivery setup.
