Why does my release show up under 'Appears On' and not under 'Latest Release' on Spotify?

If an artist is listed as the primary artist at the product level, the release will show up on their profile under 'Latest Releases'.

 

If an artist is mentioned within any other role, the release will show up under 'Appears On'.
