This article explains how to manage Dolby Atmos delivery to specific Digital Service Providers (DSPs), how exclusivity can be configured, and how Dolby Atmos content appears on supported platforms such as Apple Music, TIDAL, and Amazon Music.
Overview
FUGA currently supports automated delivery of Dolby Atmos audio to the following DSPs:
Apple Music
TIDAL
Amazon Music
Deezer
Naver/VIBE
Genie Music
Once Dolby Atmos files are attached to a release and delivered, all compatible DSPs will ingest the files automatically unless delivery filters or restrictions are in place.
Controlling Dolby Atmos Delivery to DSPs
By default, all DSPs that support Dolby Atmos will receive Atmos files if attached to a release.
If you wish to limit delivery or create DSP exclusivity for your Dolby Atmos content:
- Do not trigger delivery before contacting FUGA Support
- Send a request to support@fuga.com with the following information:
- UPC (Universal Product Code) of the product
- Desired DSP(s) for exclusive release
- Confirmation that you are withholding delivery from other DSPs
Note: Delivery exclusivity may require specific timing coordination and DSP communication.
DSP-Specific Visibility for Dolby Atmos Content
When Dolby Atmos files are successfully delivered, DSPs indicate their presence using specific badges or interface elements. These may vary by platform:
Apple Music
- The Dolby Atmos badge appears on the Now Playing screen for individual tracks
- If the entire album includes Dolby Atmos versions, the badge appears on the album’s detail page
- Dolby Atmos files on Apple platforms are not available for download via Apple Music. They are exclusively accessible for streaming through supported apps and devices.
TIDAL
- The Dolby Atmos badge displays next to compatible tracks and albums
- Must be accessed via a compatible playback device to view Atmos indicators
Amazon Music
- Dolby Atmos content is available to Amazon Music Unlimited subscribers
- Must be accessed via the standalone mobile app
- Dolby Atmos badges appear next to each track and the release title
-
The browser version only supports SD/HD; the desktop app supports Ultra HD (but not Dolby Atmos)
Troubleshooting Visibility
- Ensure the Dolby Atmos files are attached correctly and assigned valid ISRCs
- DSP badges may take time to appear after ingestion and processing
- If Dolby Atmos content does not appear, confirm compatibility of the playback device and user subscription tier
- If your Dolby Atmos release is already live on Apple Music but not yet available on TIDAL or Amazon Music, you can trigger a redelivery without editing the release. Open the product in your catalog. Click Unlock & Edit. Redeliver the product without making any changes The Dolby Atmos files will automatically be included for all supported DSPs during redelivery.
