This article explains how to manage user access levels and configure automated notification preferences within the FUGA Interface. You will learn how to invite new team members, customize individual permission levels, modify existing user profiles, and submit account deactivation requests. Additionally, this guide covers how to route system updates—specifically Event, Delivery, Takedown, QC notifications, and Royalty Statements—to designated email addresses.
User Access Requirements
Only users with administrative privileges in the Primary Account can manage user access control and notification preferences. Subaccount users do not have access to these global organization settings. Ensure you are logged into the Primary Account before attempting to modify these fields.
Managing User Profiles and Access Levels
To maintain account security and organization-level user access, administrators can invite new team members and customize individual roles using the following permission levels:
Organization management: Enables all below permissions. This grants central control over users, organizational settings, and Subaccounts.
Catalog: Grants control over your primary catalog and associated Subaccount catalogs.
Analytics: Allows users to view and access data regarding music and asset performance.
Accounting: Allows users to manage invoices, revenue reporting, and payment operations.
To invite a new user to your organization:
Click Settings in the top right corner of the FUGA Interface.
Select My Organization from the dropdown menu.
Scroll down to the USERS section.
Click + INVITE USER.
Enter the user’s information and email address.
Click Send to forward the invitation link.
All invited users must complete the activation process manually by following the instructions provided in their automated confirmation email before they can access the system.
To modify an existing user’s role or system permissions:
Locate the user within the USERS list.
Click Edit.
Adjust their access settings as needed.
Click Save.
Requesting User Removal
User removal must be handled directly by FUGA. To request the removal of a user, contact your FUGA representative or reach out via our support channel by emailing support@fuga.com with the following details:
Full name of the user
Associated FUGA ID
To locate a user's unique identifier, navigate to Settings > My Organization and scroll to the USERS section. The FUGA ID is located in the left-most column next to the user’s name. Once the request is processed, the user will completely lose access to your organization's environment.
Configuring Notification Preferences
You can review and modify which email addresses are designated to receive system updates via your account settings:
Click Settings in the top right corner of the FUGA Interface.
Select My Organization from the dropdown menu.
Under the ORGANIZATION DETAILS tab, click on Notification preferences.
Locate the specific notification field you wish to update (Event, Delivery, Takedown, Statements, or QC notification).
Enter the email addresses you would like to receive these notifications.
Click on the Save button that appears in the lower-right corner of the screen.
When updating these fields, keep the following guidelines in mind:
Multiple Contacts: You can add multiple email addresses to each field to ensure all relevant team members stay informed. Ensure each email address is separated by a comma (e.g., employee.one@example.com, employee.two@example.com).
Removing Contacts: To stop a contact from receiving updates, follow the navigation steps above, remove the specific email address from the field, and click Save.
Empty Fields: Fields can be left entirely empty if necessary. However, it is highly recommended to maintain at least one active email address in every field so your organization does not miss essential delivery status updates or compliance alerts.
If you experience issues saving your preferences, if notifications fail to arrive, or if you need assistance customizing user access settings, contact your FUGA representative or reach out via our support channel at support@fuga.com.
