This article explains how to set up and structure a multi-volume product, such as a multi-disc collection or box set, within the FUGA Interface. You will learn how to configure the total volume count at the product level and assign individual assets to their respective volume numbers prior to product approval for distribution.
Overview
A multi-volume product contains more than one disc or volume unified under a single release. This configuration is standard for box sets, compilation albums, and multi-disc collections distributed to Digital Service Providers (DSPs).
Because tracklist ordering and volume assignments are locked once a product reaches Approved status, accurate configuration prior to approval is required.
Prerequisites
- Active account access to the FUGA Interface with product creation permissions.
- All audio assets (tracks) uploaded to your account and ready for product assignment.
Step-by-Step Instructions
- Log in to the FUGA Interface.
- Navigate to Pre Delivery > Platform > Product Creation and create a new product, or open an existing draft product.
- Enter the required release metadata, including Title, Primary Artist, and Universal Product Code (UPC).
- At the product level, locate the Total Volumes field and enter the total number of volumes (for example, enter 3 for a 3-volume product).
- Open each asset assigned to the product, locate the asset-level Volume field, and enter the designated volume number (e.g., 1, 2, or 3).
- Carefully review all track sequences and volume assignments across the release.
Note: Once a product is marked as Approved, volume assignments cannot be modified. If adjustments are required after approval, you must create a new product.
