This article explains how to configure a product in the FUGA Interface to be available exclusively for streaming. You will learn how to adjust product usage rights by disabling download permissions and selecting appropriate streaming permissions for both unapproved releases and previously delivered products.
Overview
Setting a product to streaming-only restricts end users from downloading content while granting streaming access across Digital Service Providers (DSPs). This setup is standard for exclusive streaming releases or content that must remain non-downloadable across all digital channels.
Prerequisites
Before adjusting product usage rights, ensure you have:
Access to your FUGA account with product editing permissions.
A product created within your catalog.
Step-by-Step Instructions
To ensure a product is available for streaming only, adjust its usage rights by following these steps:
Log in to the FUGA Interface and locate the product within your catalog.
Click on the product title to open its details page.
Check the delivery status of the product:
If the product is unapproved or in an editable draft state, proceed directly to step 4.
If the product has already been approved or delivered to DSPs, click UNLOCK & EDIT at the top of the product page to enable editing.
Scroll down to the Usage Rights section.
Disable all download permissions by clearing the following options:
Permanent Download
Subscription Download
Enable only the active streaming options required for your release:
Subscription streaming
Ad supported streaming
Prime on-demand streaming
Subscription streaming (non interactive)
Ad-supported streaming (non interactive)
Confirm that no download permissions remain selected.
Click Save to apply the updated usage rights.
Once saved, the updated usage rights will apply to future deliveries and update feeds sent to DSPs.
