How to Configure a Product for Download-Only Access

Introduction

This article explains how to configure a product for download-only access in the FUGA interface. By following this process, you will restrict the product to purchase and download exclusively, with no streaming availability.

Requirements

  • Access to the FUGA platform with permissions to modify product settings.
  • A product already uploaded and ready for configuration.

Step-by-Step Instructions

To make a product available exclusively for download (without streaming availability), follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to the Products section in the FUGA interface and select the product you wish to configure.

  2. Scroll to the Usage Rights section.
    • Disable all streaming rights toggles to prevent distribution to any (streaming) Digital Service Providers.

  3. Switch to the Tracks to configure individual track availability.

    • For each track, disable the Available Separately toggle. This ensures that tracks are only accessible as part of the full album or bundle and cannot be purchased or downloaded individually.

By applying these settings, the product will be available solely as a download and not for streaming or individual track sale.

Troubleshooting

  • If streaming options still appear on a DSP shortly after configuration, wait up to 24 hours for changes to propagate.
  • If individual tracks remain purchasable, re-open the Tracks tab and ensure the Available Separately toggles are off for every track.
  • Review that you have saved changes at both the product and track levels.
