Introduction
This article explains best practices for using found.ee in conjunction with the FUGA integration. It outlines how to manage artist accounts, structure your setup for optimal data tracking, and use advanced features such as lifetime pre-save and bulk email downloads.
Overview and Requirements
To follow these best practices, you will need:
An active found.ee account
The FUGA integration enabled and connected
Admin access to your FUGA dashboard
-
Artist accounts pre-configured or the ability to create new ones
Step-by-step Instructions
1. Connect Your FUGA Integration
Log in to your FUGA dashboard and ensure your integration with the FUGA interface is connected to your found.ee account. This connection enables API-based page creation and data syncing.
2. Create Pages via the API
Use the FUGA interface to generate music pages via API. These will automatically appear under Managed Music Pages in your found.ee account.
3. Organize Artist Pages by Account
Segment your artists by creating individual accounts for each one. This practice enhances clarity and allows for accurate performance tracking per artist.
4. Create Separate Artist Accounts
Navigate to the Permissions tab in found.ee. Create new artist-specific accounts and name them after the corresponding artist. This naming convention supports clearer dashboard navigation.
5. Grant Access to Artist Management Teams
Optionally, you can invite artist management teams to access these individual artist accounts. Input their email addresses and assign temporary or permanent passwords as needed.
6. Understand the Data Structure
Data in found.ee is scoped to the account level. Each account will display aggregate data for all associated pages, allowing for precise artist-level analytics.
7. Download Emails Efficiently
Utilize the found.ee dashboard to download all emails collected from associated pages within one account. This avoids the need to export lists individually from each page.
8. Transfer Page Ownership
After an artist account is created, transfer ownership of the relevant pages to that account. Use the artist’s email or found.ee user ID to complete the transfer via the Permissions section.
9. Enable Lifetime Pre-Save Functionality
Each artist account can only link one lifetime pre-save artist to prevent misuse. If you need expanded functionality, you may submit a request to found.ee support for additional upgrades.
10. Configure Lifetime Pre-Save Artist Settings
Go to My Fans within the artist account and update the lifetime pre-save settings. Ensure all fields and permissions are correctly configured for campaign execution.
