Understanding the YouTube Statement
The YouTube statement is the latest addition to FUGA's royalty statements package, specifically tailored to provide more detailed reporting for YouTube revenues.
We have developed a dedicated YouTube statement to offer comprehensive insights into your earnings from this platform. This statement provides granular sales-level reporting, including detailed information about the asset, video, and channel associated with each sale.
These changes enable FUGA to account for YouTube revenues without traditional track or product barcodes being present by adding YouTube assets to your royalty catalog.
Key Points to Note:
Purpose of the YouTube Statement:
- The YouTube statement serves as a supplementary report to your standard Aggregation statement.
- It does not introduce any new revenues; rather, it offers a more detailed breakdown of your YouTube sales data – Please refrain from processing both the Aggregation & YouTube statements for follow-on accounting, as this will lead to overpayments by including duplicate sales.
Integration with Aggregation Statement:
- Your Aggregation statement continues to provide the complete financial overview of your sales, including all revenue sources.
- The YouTube statement is included in your Aggregation statement zipped package, but only if YouTube sales are present.
Format and Contents:
- The YouTube statement is provided in CSV format for easy accessibility.
- Please note that the report does not offer summaries or groupings of the data currently.
- It includes line-by-line sales data with headers such as:
