This article explains how to takedown a product using the FUGA Interface.
If you need to remove a release from one or more Digital Service Providers (DSPs), the FUGA interface allows you to do so manually via the Product Delivery Instructions section of the platform.
Overview
You can initiate a takedown in FUGA interface at any time for an already-delivered product. Takedowns may be needed when rights expire, releases are recalled, or incorrect metadata has been delivered. This action can be DSP-specific or applied to all DSPs previously selected for delivery.
Step-by-step Instructions
- Log in to your FUGA account.
- Use the search function to locate the product you wish to takedown.
- Open the product page.
- Scroll to the Product Delivery Instructions section.
- In the delivery grid, select the DSPs from which the release should be removed.
- You can use the checkboxes to select multiple Digital Service Providers (DSPs).
- Once selections are made, scroll to the top of the Product Delivery Instructions section.
- Click Takedown to initiate the process.
-
Confirm the action in the dialogue prompt that appears.
Troubleshooting
- Takedown button is not visible: Ensure that the product has been previously delivered. Takedowns can only be initiated on delivered assets.
- DSP not listed: If the desired DSP does not appear in the delivery list, it may not have been included in the original delivery.
- No confirmation dialogue: Refresh your browser or clear cache and retry the process. If the issue persists, contact support.
Related Notes
- Takedowns only affect selected DSPs; other deliveries remain live unless removed manually.
- This process does not delete the product from your catalog.
- You may redeliver the same product to a DSP after takedown if required.
